Richard Hempe CPA, Tax consultant

Richard Hempe is a founding partner of SH+C GmbH. After studying business administration and working as a Bundeswehr officer in staff and management functions, he worked as an IT consultant and trainer.

Richard Hempe represents SH+C GmbH in mergers and cooperations, for example as a member of the executive board of WIRA AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (www.wira-audit.org), a holding company with currently five locations in Germany offering supra-regional and nationwide auditing and consulting services. He is Chairman of the Board of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region at AGN International Ltd., an international association of independent auditing companies to which SH+C and WIRA also belong.

In addition, he is a speaker for various chambers of tax consultants, a guest speaker at specialist congresses and conferences, and publishes articles and contributions in specialist journals. His main topics are partnerships and in particular GmbH & Co. KG, the KGaA, disclosure, accounting under commercial law and, most recently, digitalization topics. As part of a teaching assignment at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich, he focuses on the subject of “taxation of companies”.
